Before the first safari vehicles cross the plains, a balloon rises gently into the cool morning air. Below, rivers, woodlands, kopjes and wandering wildlife unfold in patterns only the sky can reveal.
Every flight follows the wind, making each journey entirely its own. Some mornings drift above the endless grasslands of the Serengeti, while others reveal Tarangire’s baobab-studded landscapes and elephant country from an extraordinary new perspective.

From First Light to a Bush Breakfast

A balloon safari begins long before sunrise, when the wilderness is still quiet and the horizon only beginning to brighten. From the first glow of the burners to the final landing in the bush, every moment feels beautifully removed from an ordinary game drive.

BEFORE DAWN

The Journey Begins

An early transfer takes you to the launch site, where the balloon is prepared beneath the fading stars. Meet your pilot, receive a short safety briefing and watch as the enormous envelope slowly comes to life.

IN THE AIR

Drift Above the Wilderness

As the sun rises, float silently above the landscape for approximately an hour. Wildlife sightings vary each morning, but the elevated perspective reveals the scale and beauty of Tanzania in a way impossible to experience from the ground.

AFTER LANDING

Breakfast in the Bush

After a gentle landing, celebrate the flight before continuing to a beautifully arranged breakfast in the wilderness. Surrounded by open landscapes and fresh morning air, it is a memorable conclusion to an extraordinary start to the day.
