From the Indian Ocean to Elephant Country
Your journey begins with a scheduled flight from Zanzibar to Arusha, where your professional safari guide will be waiting. After a short introduction, leave the city behind and travel by private 4×4 towards Tarangire National Park.
Enter a wilderness shaped by ancient baobabs and the seasonal Tarangire River. Your first game drive offers opportunities to encounter the park’s celebrated elephant herds alongside giraffes, buffalo, zebras, wildebeest and lions. As the day winds down, continue to your luxury tented camp inside Tarangire for an evening surrounded by the sounds of the bush.

DAY TWO · TARANGIRE TO ZANZIBAR
One Last Morning in the Wild
Wake within Tarangire and begin the day with an early game drive, when cooler temperatures bring renewed activity across the park.
Explore different areas in search of wildlife you may have missed the previous day, enjoying another opportunity to watch elephants, plains game and predators against Tarangire’s distinctive landscape. After lunch, leave the park and travel to Arusha Airport for your scheduled afternoon flight back to Zanzibar, exchanging the savannah once again for the Indian Ocean.
