DAY ONE · ARUSHA

Welcome to Tanzania

Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport, where your private driver will welcome you and transfer you to your accommodation in Arusha. Depending on your arrival time, spend the afternoon at leisure or discover a little of the city, from colourful local markets and craft centres to Arusha’s relaxed streets beneath the shadow of Mount Meru. Settle in for the evening and prepare for the adventure ahead.

DAY TWO · TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK

The Land of Giants

After breakfast, meet your safari guide and journey to Tarangire National Park. Ancient baobabs rise above golden savannahs while large elephant herds gather around the Tarangire River, the park’s great lifeline. Spend the day exploring by private 4×4, searching for elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo and predators including lions and leopards. Enjoy a picnic lunch surrounded by the wilderness before continuing to your lodge.

DAY THREE · LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK

Between Forest & Rift Valley

Today you explore Lake Manyara National Park, a compact yet remarkably diverse wilderness beneath the dramatic escarpment of the Great Rift Valley. Drive through groundwater forests and open plains in search of elephants, giraffes, buffalo, baboons and abundant birdlife before reaching the shores of the alkaline lake. The park’s changing landscapes make every corner feel distinctly different from the savannahs of Tarangire.

DAY FOUR · SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

Into the Endless Plains

After breakfast, leave the highlands behind and continue towards one of Africa’s greatest wildernesses, Serengeti National Park. As the landscape opens into seemingly endless grasslands, begin your first Serengeti game drive in search of lions, elephants, buffalo, cheetahs, giraffes and vast herds of plains game. Depending on the season, you may also encounter concentrations of wildebeest and zebra moving through the ecosystem.

DAY FIVE · SERENGETI → NGORONGORO

One Last Morning on the Plains

Rise early for another game drive across the Serengeti, when the landscape is cool and wildlife is particularly active. Search for predators returning from the night’s hunt and watch the plains awaken in the soft morning light. After the game drive and lunch, begin your journey towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, enjoying wildlife encounters along the way before reaching the crater highlands for the evening.

DAY SIX · NGORONGORO CRATER

A World Within a Crater

After an early breakfast, descend approximately 600 metres into the Ngorongoro Crater for one of Tanzania’s most extraordinary wildlife experiences. The crater floor supports an exceptional concentration of animals, including lions, elephants, buffalo, hippos, zebras, wildebeest and the elusive black rhino. Enjoy a picnic lunch within this immense natural amphitheatre before ascending the crater walls and returning to Arusha.

DAY SEVEN · MATERUNI

Waterfalls, Coffee & Kilimanjaro

Complete your journey in the green foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro with a visit to Materuni village. Walk through fertile farmland and tropical vegetation to the impressive Materuni Waterfall, where water plunges approximately 80 metres into the valley below. Return to the village for an interactive coffee experience, following the traditional Chagga process from bean to cup, accompanied by songs, stories and a locally prepared lunch. Afterwards, transfer to Arusha or the airport according to your onward travel arrangements.
