Begin among the giant baobabs and elephant herds of Tarangire National Park, before travelling into the vast Serengeti for two days of game viewing across its remarkable plains. From there, continue into the Ngorongoro highlands and descend into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater for the final chapter of your safari.
Travelling as part of a small shared group, with a maximum of six guests per safari vehicle, keeps the journey intimate while offering an accessible way to experience Tanzania’s classic northern circuit.

DAY ONE · TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK
Among Elephants & Baobabs
After breakfast, meet your safari guide at your hotel in Arusha and travel towards Tarangire National Park for your first day in the wild.
Spend the day exploring the park with a picnic lunch along the way. Tarangire is shaped by the river that gives the park its name and is particularly celebrated for its impressive elephant herds, immense baobab trees and healthy predator populations.
As the afternoon draws to a close, leave the park and continue to Ngare Lodge for dinner and your first overnight stay.

DAY TWO · SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK
Into the Endless Plains
After breakfast, continue towards the legendary Serengeti National Park for a day dedicated to exploring one of Africa’s greatest wildlife ecosystems.
The Serengeti supports an extraordinary variety of wildlife, including lions, cheetahs, elephants, buffalo, giraffes, hippos and abundant plains game. It is also home to the Great Migration, with vast herds of wildebeest and zebra moving through different areas of the ecosystem as seasons and rainfall change.
After your game drive, settle into Shuhudia Adventure Camp inside Central Serengeti for dinner and an evening surrounded by the wilderness.Â

DAY THREE · CENTRAL SERENGETI TO NGORONGORO
One Last Morning on the Plains
Wake in Central Serengeti and return to the wilderness after breakfast for your final Serengeti game drive.
Spend the morning searching for wildlife across the plains, with a picnic lunch during the day’s exploration. Later in the afternoon, leave the Serengeti and travel towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where wildlife shares the wider landscape with Maasai communities and their livestock.
Continue to Ngorongoro Safari Lodge for dinner and your final overnight stay, ready for the following morning’s crater adventure.

DAY FOUR · NGORONGORO CRATER
Into Africa’s Natural Amphitheatre
After breakfast, descend into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater for the final game drive of your journey.
Spend the morning exploring the crater floor, where an extraordinary concentration of wildlife inhabits the grasslands, wetlands and woodland enclosed by the ancient caldera. Lions, buffalo, zebras, wildebeest, hyenas, elephants, hippos and black rhinos are among the animals that may be encountered.
Enjoy a picnic lunch before ascending from the crater in the afternoon and beginning the journey back to Arusha, where your four-day safari comes to an end.
