DAY ONE · TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK
Among Elephants & Baobabs
Depart your Arusha hotel at approximately 8:30 am with a picnic lunch and travel towards Tarangire National Park for a full-day game drive.
The landscape is unmistakably Tarangire, with immense baobab trees rising above the savannah and the Tarangire River creating an important lifeline for wildlife. The park is particularly celebrated for its elephant herds, while lions, giraffes, buffalo, zebras, lesser kudu, oryx and eland are among the species you may encounter.
After your game drive, leave the park and continue to your lodge for dinner and your first overnight stay.

DAY TWO · SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK
Into the Endless Plains
After breakfast, set out towards Serengeti National Park as the landscape gradually opens into the immense plains for which the park is famous.
Spend the afternoon exploring the Serengeti by 4×4, searching for lions resting in the shade, cheetahs scanning the grasslands and great herds of wildebeest, zebras and gazelles moving across the plains. A picnic lunch is enjoyed during the day’s game drive, allowing you to make the most of your time in the wilderness.
As evening arrives, settle into your campsite inside Central Serengeti for dinner and a night beneath the African sky.

DAY THREE · SERENGETI TO NGORONGORO
One Last Morning on the Plains
Wake in Central Serengeti and begin the morning with another game drive, giving you a final opportunity to explore the plains and search for wildlife before continuing south.
Later, leave the Serengeti with a picnic lunch and travel towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The scenery changes dramatically as the open plains give way to the cooler volcanic highlands surrounding the crater.
Your day ends at Ngorongoro Simba Campsite A, positioned on the crater rim, where you enjoy dinner and prepare for the following morning’s descent.

DAY FOUR · NGORONGORO CRATER
Into Africa’s Natural Amphitheatre
After breakfast, descend into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater for approximately five hours of game viewing.
Permanent water and rich grazing support an extraordinary concentration of wildlife across the crater floor. Search for wildebeest, zebras, buffalo, hippos, elephants, lions, hyenas and the endangered black rhino as your guide navigates between grasslands, wetlands and woodland.
Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the crater before ascending into the highlands later in the afternoon and beginning the drive back to Arusha, where your safari comes to an end.
