This private four-day journey brings together three of Tanzania’s most celebrated safari landscapes, creating a beautifully compact introduction to the northern circuit.
Begin among the enormous baobabs and elephant herds of Tarangire National Park, before travelling into the Serengeti for two days among its vast plains and abundant wildlife. Your journey then continues towards the Ngorongoro highlands, culminating with a descent into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater.
Private guiding and a dedicated 4×4 give you the freedom to experience each destination at a more personal pace, while comfortable lodges and a tented bush camp provide a relaxing end to each day.

DAY ONE · TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK
Among Elephants & Baobabs
After breakfast, your private safari guide will collect you from your hotel in Arusha and begin the journey towards Tarangire National Park.
Spend the day exploring a landscape defined by immense baobab trees, open savannah and the Tarangire River. The park is particularly celebrated for its large elephant herds, while buffalo, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest and lions are among the wildlife you may encounter during your game drive.
Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park before continuing your exploration. Later, leave Tarangire and travel to Marera Valley Lodge for dinner and your first evening on safari.

DAY TWO · SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK
Into the Endless Plains
After breakfast, continue towards the legendary Serengeti National Park for a day dedicated to exploring one of Africa’s greatest wildlife ecosystems.
The landscape opens into seemingly endless plains inhabited by lions, cheetahs, elephants, buffalo, giraffes, hippos and abundant plains game. Wildebeest and zebra also move through the wider Serengeti ecosystem as part of the Great Migration, with their location changing naturally throughout the year.
Continue game viewing into the afternoon before arriving at your tented bush camp inside Central Serengeti, where you spend the night surrounded by the sounds of the wilderness.

DAY THREE · CENTRAL SERENGETI
One Last Day on the Plains
Wake in the heart of the Serengeti and head out after breakfast for another game drive, giving you valuable additional time to explore the plains and search for wildlife you may have missed the previous day.
Enjoy a picnic lunch during the day’s exploration before gradually leaving the Serengeti and travelling towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, a remarkable landscape where wildlife and Maasai pastoral life coexist.
Continue to Karatu for dinner and an overnight stay at Kankari Lodge, positioning you close to Ngorongoro for the following morning’s crater adventure.

DAY FOUR · NGORONGORO CRATER
Into Africa’s Natural Amphitheatre
After breakfast, travel into the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend to the floor of the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater.
Spend the day exploring this remarkable volcanic landscape with a picnic lunch along the way. Its grasslands, wetlands and woodland support an exceptional concentration of wildlife, including lions, buffalo, elephants, zebras, wildebeest, hippos, hyenas and black rhinos.
Later in the afternoon, climb back through the crater walls and begin the journey to Arusha, bringing your four-day private safari to a close.Â
