Begin among Tarangire’s elephant herds and ancient baobabs before travelling into the vast Serengeti for game drives across one of Africa’s greatest wildlife landscapes. Spend your nights closer to nature with camping in the Serengeti and on the Ngorongoro Crater rim, before descending into the crater for your final day of wildlife viewing.
Travelling with a small group of no more than six guests per safari vehicle makes this an accessible way to experience Tanzania’s celebrated northern parks while retaining an intimate safari atmosphere.

DAY ONE · TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK
Among Elephants & Baobabs
Your adventure begins in Arusha, where you meet your safari guide and fellow travellers before setting out towards Tarangire National Park.
Enter a landscape shaped by open savannah, enormous baobab trees and the Tarangire River. Spend the day exploring by 4×4 in search of the park’s celebrated elephant herds alongside giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo and predators.
After your first day of game viewing, leave the park and continue to your lodge for dinner and a relaxed evening before the journey continues north.Â

DAY TWO · SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK
Into the Endless Plains
After breakfast, continue towards the legendary Serengeti National Park, where Tanzania’s highlands gradually give way to immense horizons and open grasslands.
Spend the day exploring the Serengeti in search of the remarkable wildlife that inhabits this ecosystem. Lions, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, buffalo and abundant plains game may all be encountered, while wildebeest and zebra move through the wider ecosystem with the seasonal Great Migration.
As daylight begins to fade, make your way to your campsite inside Central Serengeti. Dinner is served in camp before your first night beneath the Serengeti sky.

DAY THREE · SERENGETI TO NGORONGORO
From the Plains to the Highlands
Wake in Central Serengeti and return to the plains for another opportunity to experience the park’s wildlife in the cooler morning hours.
Continue exploring before gradually leaving the Serengeti and travelling towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The endless plains eventually give way to the cooler volcanic highlands surrounding one of Africa’s most remarkable natural landscapes.
Your evening is spent at Ngorongoro Simba Campsite A, situated on the crater rim, putting you in an excellent position for the following morning’s descent.

DAY FOUR · NGORONGORO CRATER
Into Africa’s Natural Amphitheatre
After breakfast, descend from the crater rim into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater for the final game drive of your journey.
Explore the crater’s grasslands, wetlands and woodland in search of its extraordinary resident wildlife. Lions, buffalo, zebras, wildebeest, elephants, hippos and hyenas are among the animals commonly encountered, while Ngorongoro also provides an important refuge for the endangered black rhino.
After your crater experience and lunch, ascend into the highlands and begin the journey back to Arusha, bringing your four-day adventure to an end.Â
